The beaches of Angera

The waters of Angera are safe and suitable for swimming. Everyone can enjoy the two beach areas, Noce and Nocciola, where bathing is allowed.
Noce Beach, characterized by sand and small pebbles, takes its name from the large tree standing at its center, which provides shade and coolness until well past midday. The beach is accessible via a paved path in the first section, followed by a ramp suitable for strollers and people with reduced mobility, leading down to the sandy area. A playground area with a slide makes the northern part of the beach particularly suitable for families with children.
Nocciola Beach, located further north, features a large grassy area that is partly shaded. It is also accessible to dogs. Access is via a fairly steep path, and the beach is not equipped with facilities.
Non-swimming areas: The access to the water is prohibited along the shoreline facing the tree-lined avenues owing to the presence of the harbor and docks, ferry and private boat traffic.
