Wine from the "Cascina Piano" cellar

Cascina piano chooses and pursues the enhancement of native vines, reproducing varieties that are partly abandoned and the selection of new varieties to be included in the IGT

The winemaking wisdom of the producers of that time is still alive today in the care of the vines and in the production of Angera wine.
This is the case of the Azienda Agricola Cascina Piano, one of the main promoters of the revival of the wine culture in the province of Varese, which produces fine and delicate wines, endowed with a rich bouquet, fragrant and complex, including the white San Quirico, the red Sebuino and the Angliano red barricaded.
The particular pedoclimatic conditions of the Angerese territory allow the production of Vino Muffato "Mott Caré" which since 2016 has received the recognition of Municipal Denomination of Origin (De.CO). This wine, produced with the use of grapes on which noble mold is formed, has high costs because it requires a careful technique and great experience in winemaking. It has been mentioned among the wines not to be missed in the guide "The good wines of Italy" 2016-2017 of the Italian Touring Club.
